Time flows by

It has been almost a year since I moved back to New Zealand and a lot has happened.

I survived getting COVID in the middle of moving countries and homes. I downsized three houses into one and gave away what I didn’t need (there is still more but the bulk is done) . I co-authored a book “Voices of Impact Vol 2”. I became a council member for Volunteer Service Abroad. I started consulting with New Zealand Red Cross. I co-hosted my first overseas retreat in beautiful Tonga and enjoyed a trip to Greece. I installed a solar array (batteries next), a new deck and outdoor fireplace. I laid a bountiful vege garden and planted a whole lot of fruit trees (gardening gives me much balance and pleasure). I reconnected with family and friends and made new ones. And I learnt to better master my energy, follow my bliss and be in flow. While I still get triggered on occasion, I also healed shadows both past and present. When I look back, time has flown by in a good way and I feel a lightness of being.

A friend says life is like toilet roll, the closer you get to the end the faster it goes. I know the older I get, the more I want to spend my time wisely and do things that extend my life as long as possible. So here are my Top 10 Tips to spend time so it doesn’t fly by too fast.
